  1. Windows Server SMTP relay

    I am looking for a direct light weight replacement for Windows Server SMTP relay. MS has discontinued support (and it no longer functions) for SMTP on Windows Server 2022. I and many other companies need this simple tool for relay messages from systems like Integration services, etc.. The old SMTP did work up until Server 2019. We are now using Office 365 and you must authenticate so the relay can be setup that way on the server up until Server 2019. Also we only need to send email to a smart host not receive it.

  2. Exclude mailing list from Everyone mailing list

    Exclude mailing list from Everyone mailing list

    It would be nice to have an option to exclude a mailing list from Everyone mailing list, the same way it is used in normal email accounts.
    The mailing list may contain members outside of the email domain, so it is not good to make company announcements known to third parties

  3. AD Connector

    I wish it was a small program and it could pair AD User/Group to MDAEMON User/Group with each other.

  4. Department accounts

    It would be nice to have department accounts with associated mailing lists with same name. The department can send emails with replies going to all members of department. For now we IMAP to send / reply but it's clumsy.
    Even better if the mailing list can have the account as member.
    Various managers ask for something like this.

  5. current date

    What about adding access to the parsed values of X-MDArrival-Date header for content filtering rules (accessing dow, day, month, year) and enbaling numercial tests. This would allow for rules to be triggered on certain day of weeks, or for a given timestamp.

  6. nextcloud integration

    SENDENT company create an exchange connector in order to link : Nextcloud Server with Exchange via EWS (Exchange Web Services).
    I want to know if possible for mdaemon server connect to nextcloud server (calendar, mails) with this kind of connector.

    Hello,


    Thank you for sharing your idea to integrate with NextCloud.  From what I have read, NextCloud is able to synchronize mail using a build in IMAP client.  And it can synchronize Calendar and Contact data using a built in DAV client.  MDaemon has an IMAP and webDAV server built in, so you should by able to synch data from MDaemon to next cloud, although I have not tested it.

  7. Public folder post/message notification (Short Summary) to Users group

    Each time when any update post (email) available to public folder It should just send notification like summary instead full message with attachment : This will save Inbox size (attachment) and avoid duplication.

  8. Could you range by ALPHA order lists (whitelist etc...)

    Hello,

    With the time, i'd put many entries into whitelists...and other list, and i saw i have often entries in double or more.

    If you have a way to range them by alfa order, after whitelist to or whistlist for "terms", it could be better

    Hello,

    Global Administrators can restrict the number of accounts that can be created on a specific domain using WebAdmin. To find this option login to WebAdmin and click on Domains, then edit the domain in question. At the bottom of the properties page there is an option for “Limit number of users to.”

  10. Allow a domain admin to modify settings of another domain.

    Add the ability for a Domain Administrator to change the accounts of the another domain.

    I think it very useful compare to block account xx minute.

  12. Mailing List Handling

    Add the capability to expand a mailing list in Outlook (if it isn't private) to see the members mailed to and the ability to remove single members from the mailing like Exchange server/Outlook in conjun ction offer.

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing your idea. Distribution lists can be setup in Outlook and offer an experience similar to Exchange and Outlook. If you are using OutlookConnector with MDaemon you can store distribution lists in a public contact folder which can then be accessed by anyone that has permissions to access the contact folder.

  13. Autoresponder but with account disable

    Hello,

    In enterprise, we have sometimes workers who leave the enterprise, so when they leave, we have two choices: Disable their account and external persons have a technical strange erro, or keep the account active to have the autoresponder and be able to notice to external that the worker has leave the enterprise, or something like that. it is better for relationship....
    I saw in the 13.6 a new fonction, but it coud be great to have a new fonction: account disable but with autoresponder active

    Hello Cyril,

    Thank you for sharing your idea with us to have an autoresponder enabled for an account that is disabled. This can already be done using MDaemon by Freezing the account and enabling the autoresponder. When an account is frozen inbound email is accepted and triggers the autoresponder but the account cannot be accessed. If you’d like assistance configuring this please contact our support team.   14. French translation or personalized email errors

    Hello

    When user send a mail to a wrong adress, or a mail with a huge attachments (over quota) i receive a technical email in english...

    So we'd like to have the French translation in mdaemon for these mails sent, and better if possible, to have a way to manage/personalize them.

    Hello Cyril,

    Thanks again for sharing your ideas with us. The delivery warning and delivery error messages used by MDaemon can be altered by editing the Delwarning.dat and delerror.dat files found in the MDaemon\app directory. I have also verified that when installing the french version of MDaemon 13.6.0 these files are in French. If you are running the French version of MDaemon and would like to use the default French version of these files simply stop MDaemon, delete the files, and then restart MDaemon. The files will be recreated by MDaemon when it starts. If you’d like assistance with making these changes , please contact our support team.   15. Mailing list FROM override

    Include an option to override the from address in mailing lists to show either the senders address or the mailing list address in order to work around stricter DMARC settings being adopted by major email providers.

  16. Add Search Tools on MDaemon Server, to find a Specific e-mails

    Sometimes Known or Unknown email from sender can make some problem for users & on the other hand it may go to hundreds of users in the same time & distribute lot of problems ...
    If Mdaemon have a facility to find such a e-mails, it help to the Admin to find & do their require action (e.g. Delete or Quarantine) it .

  17. Document Preview

    Would it be possible to add a document preview for common document types - e.g. .docx, xlsx, pdf, etc?
