Hello Dan,
Thank you for your detailed explanation. Newer versions of Windows support symbolic links which you may be able to use to accomplish this.
I have also submitted your idea to be considered for future versions of MDaemon.

At this time it is my understanding that the default documents directory is \program files\mdaemon\Public Folders\%domain name%.IMAP\Documents.IMAP for the shared Documents. I have customer's that already have a Document structure in place that all users access, if Mdaemon could point to this existing directory structure that would be nice. It also looks like any directories that are sub-directories of the Documents.IMAP directory need to end in .IMAP to be viewed in WorldClient, there may be 100's of sub-directories already in place and trying to chance all off the names is not possible. The last thing that would be nice is to be able to create a folder with let's say a customer's name and under that folder have one called "Inbox or Mail" for mail and another called "Documents" for documents. The feature in Mdaemon 13 that shows who changed the document is a great feature for a small company that does not have staff to show them how to do it in Windows and they would not need to create AD Windows accounts for shared accounts as Mdaemon would use the email address to track changes.
