  1. I would like the option to install WorldClient on a separate machine

    I would like the option to install WorldClient on a separate machine from MDaemon. Currently WorldClient must be running on the same machine with MDaemon and its not very secure to have an open port on your firewall that connects to your mail server on the LAN.

  2. Allow multiple users to login to the same account at the same time

    Allow multiple users to login to the same WorldClient account at the same time. Currently only one person can be logged into the account at a time.

  3. Adding a WorldClient Android App!

    Instead of using the ActiveSync (Which causes a NUMBER of issues with peoples personal info/data), I feel Mdaemon would be MUCH better suited with an separate APP for Android that allowed completely separate control/ snyc of Email/ Cal/ Contacts. We have been a user of Altn products for 10 years (love it), and would be happy to pay a reasonable price for a server side product and then the APP price!

  4. Documents only

    Since the Document-Feature could be very helpful as an alternative way of sharing files between user accounts, we would like to suggest making it possible to deactivate mail, calendar, notes and task for individual accounts. This would make it possible to (only) share files with certain users, without giving access to a fully working e-mail-account.

  5. Add email "opened" tracking gif function to WorldClient

    Add email "opened" tracking gif function to WorldClient. Something like what CritSend and other smtp relay services provide. A column in WorldClient could show the status of the message to see if it was opened by the recipient. I believe they are doing this via a hidden gif that is embedded in the email and tracked when accessed on the mailserver. Would be great for people using mdaemon for mailing lists but also good for day to day usage.

  6. Worldclient scrolling calendar

    When using WC - if viewing calendar in 'weekly' mode, the header information (day of the week) locks to the top and scrolls up and down. If using the 'split calendar', it doesn't. Would like to see locking headers on all calendar modes.

  7. Correct support for Drag&Drop of events in calendar via WorldClient

    Currently somtimes it works to drag&drop events in a calendar. But it's not possible to d&d events from one calendar to another although it's offered (e.g. from calendar to an calendar-archive) and it's also not possible to copy an events via d&d nor via copy-function! It's offered - but it does not work!?

  9. Remove fade out in LookOut theme when deleting a message.

    There is a fade out that is obviously there for "effect", but unfortunately when you are deleting a lot of random emails, it is distracting and slow (even on core i7).

    Thank you for sharing your idea to color code unread messages. Without additional information such as, the criteria would you like to be used to color code the messages, we cannot proceed. Declining for now. If we receive additional information I’d be happy to change the status.

  14. LookOut

    We are a K-12 that has users that get VERY used to certian things. Would you PLEASE bring back the LookOut theme like we had before with the navigation on the left hand side. Perhaps just rename the old LookOut theme to something new so you can still progress with the new LookOut theme? I have had a MASSIVE out cry from all my staff about this change.

    Hello,

    Thank you for submitting your idea. Unfortunately we will not be reverting back to the old LookOut theme. If you would like to continue using the old style LookOut theme with the new version of MDaemon you should be able to copy the following directories from an old install to the new install.

    MDaemon\WorldClient\Templates\LookOut\
    MDaemon\WorldClient\HTML\LookOut

    You’ll want to name the directories something other than one of the standard theme names or they will be over written. For example in my test I used “LookOut2”. After copying the directories you will need to restart the WorldClient server.

    Move the "empty trash" button farther away from more frequently used buttons so that that potential to click on it by mistake is decreased.

    Hello Francesco,

    Thanks for sharing your idea with us to add the ability to send the existing password in an SMS message. Unfortunately we will not be able to add the ability to send the existing password in an SMS message. I believe most carriers offer SMS gateways for their customers, so if a user would like to direct the existing password recovery email to their phone as an SMS message they can do so by entering the email address setup by their cellular carrier for the SMS gateway.

  19. Reduce WorldClient.exe memory consumption

    WorlClient.exe consumes more and more memory as days pass by.
    It starts up at few MB, now more than 600MB...
    I have to restart the service one time a week.
    Before v.13 I don't remember this to happen...

  20. Expand WorldClient filters to same level as MDaemon's Content Filter rules

    The filters in WorldClient are pretty basic and we know that MDaemon can support far more complex rules.

    Please incorporate more of the Content Filter rule capabilities into WorldClient's filters so we can create richer rules.
