Hello,
Thanks for sharing your idea with us to store blocked IP addresses in a text file. While there is no feature in MDaemon to store blocked IP addresses in a text file, this is already being done. The files are probably not in the format that you’d need so you would have to write a script to gather the data and put it in the format you desire.
MDaemon stores the IP addresses configured in IP Screening in the MDaemon\app\IPScreen.dat file. MDaemon stores the Dynamic Screening Black list in the MDaemon\Data\DSBlackList.dat file. Both of these files are plain text files that can be opened with notepad. As for making the file available via HTTP, you can simply place the file in the MDaemon\WorldClient\HTML directory. Although, I do not recommend it as anybody can download the file.
Thanks,

Hello Alessandro,
Thanks you for sharing your idea. It will be considered for future versions of MDaemon. Currently, you can require users to send email using their email address by enabling the SMTP Authentication options for “Authentication is always required when mail is from local accounts” and “Authentication credentials must match those of the email sender”, however, with these options enabled there is not a way to allow one user to send on behalf of another user.
Thanks,

Then add additional pop email accounts to outlook for just sending on behalf of. You can have as many as you want. Then in the send and receive setup, uncheck receive / check mail under each pop account. If the secretary is supposed to receive emails from the other email accounts, setup those accounts to forward emails to the secretary's email account.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your ideas with us. This could be done with a plugin, however, it would require that you write a custom plugin for your environment. You may also be able to accomplish this using the content filter. You would need one rule to monitor inbound email for unsubscribe requests and when found adds the senders email address to a text file and a second rule that checks the X-MDaemon-Deliver-To header of outbound emails for words from the same text file.
A system that doesn’t require the manual creation of content filter rules will be considered for future versions.
Thanks,
ArronAn error occurred while saving the comment Tray commentedBased on the rules, the mailing list feature needs some additional work.
The subscribe and unsubscribe buttons should be added to the outbound emails automatically and should update the mailing lists members with subscribed or unsubscribed next to their member name, controlling email as required by law.An error occurred while saving the comment Tray commentedAn error occurred while saving the comment Tray commentedThanks for the feed back. It sounds like a reasonable work around until something can done in development.

If I need a Secretary to be able to send emails for their manager:
I must either disable this feature:
"Credentails used must match those of the 'From:' header address"
or
Add the email address to the "Credentials Matching White List"
However if added to the white list, there are no controls to prevent anyone else from using that feature to send email as a white listed email address.
This is a security issue, it needs to be prioritized.
I would like to see additional controls added to only allow certain end users to use specific FROM email address.
Think of this as end user A is the only account user allowed to use email address B and C as an alternative FROM header.
