    Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Which specific icons are you wanting to be able to replace? Is there a problem with replacing the files on disk? Make sure you mark your files as read-only so they are not overwritten when you upgrade.

    Thanks,
    Arron

Just to advise - setting the files as read only breaks Mdaemon upgrades as the upgrade just cuts half way through leaving you with a partially upgraded system.

So I had to remove the NTFS settings and find the download manually to update it, because the server said it was up to date, but Webmail still said it was on the old version. Thank you

Thank you for the suggestion. I did not realise I could just set the files as read only. Regards Robert

    Hi Arron,

I probably should not have used zip files as an example as I am aware of the feature you mentioned. What I am actually talking about is the following kind of scenario:

We might whitelist the following attachments:

    .docx
    .xlsx
    .pptx
    etc etc

So basically nobody can send a .doc file (which could contain a macro) and nobody can send a .docm file which could contain a macro. But maybe the council needs to send macro documents to schools as part of the council's job.

I want to whitelist the council to be able to send .docm documents but I don't want the council to be able to send other blacklisted attachments which might happen if their computers get infected with a virus.

I would like to be able to whitelist a sender to send a specific filetype such as .docm file type that is not in the whitelist without effectively whitelisting all attachments from that sender!

    Hope that makes sense.
    Robert

I have now managed to get into the Mdaemon Webmail Instant Messenger. The gui interface is very much what I would like to see for the desktop version. I really like the webmail IM version so I am happy with that theme.

However, there are several problems with the Webmail version. It does not support sending files at all and I couldn't for the life of me work out how to get the group chat to work.

Would it be possible to update the Desktop IM theme with the one used in the webmail version, but retain the functionality of the dekstop version. Also ensuring that the history view is also updated. The wordpad view of history is not desirable. It should form part of the gui theme.

    Thank you.

Outlook connector does not support Conversations or Message Threading in Outlook. Is this something that is not possible to fix as I believe that this is a longstanding issue with no ETA date?
