  1. Extend the Auto Responder/Out of Office to allow for an "Every Day Between the Hours of X & Y" or similar

    We have had several users who work Part Time and want to enable an auto response, every day to kick in when they finish early for the day. (i.e. finish at 3pm instead of 5pm). Currently the Auto Responder has to be reset every day, instead of being left to "Auto" :)

  2. Quota on a per group basis.

    We have groups of people in mdaemon like we have groups in Active Directory. Certain groups require more of a quota and some require less. It would be nice to specify the quota in this way.

  3. Configurable time for auto backup of config files instead of Midnight

    At present the automatic backup of config files happens at midnight every night. My server isn't on 24/7 so most of the time this backup doesn't happen. Please could it be possible for you to put in a time yourself when this backup happens, eg 8am.

  4. Optimize the language with OC

    The language with OC is not optimize, when you install the OC in English version some folders are still in French (the server is in French), it's a real problem for the final users which understand not the french and it's even more disturbing in World Client.

  5. Auto Responder: Make it possible to use the start and stop date within the autoresponder text. Now: You've got to enter twice when your out.

  6. ComAgent - Ability to quit definitively a group discussion

    We are using a lot ComAgent IM internaly, and sometimes users have to create a group discussion (with many people or everyone) to get an information. Sometimes, it turn in jokes exchange and some other people want to be able to stop receiving this group discussion. If you close the window, the next time someone post to this discussion you keep getting the message.
    It would be nice to be able to QUIT the discussion.
    And on the other side it would be nice that the initiator of the discussion keep able to reinvite someone to the current discussion.

  7. Add Up/Down buttons or priority setting for DNSBL services

    When using more than 1 DNSBL service and planning to stop DNSBL lookups after the first found listing, it is important to be able to set the sequence in which the DNSBLs are searched. Right now, the only way to change the sequence is to erase the DNSBL services entries and re-enter them in the desired sequence.
    For example:

    MyPrivateDNSBL.net
    bl.spamcop.com
    zen.spamhaus.org

    It's not a high priority idea. Just a user friendly touch.

  8. WorldClient Filters - Complex Rules

    Need the ability to make complex rules for sorting e-mail messages. In particular combining criteria with boolean operators (AND, OR) when filtering a message. I'd say if we can have similar functionality to what is available in the Content Filter.

    Specific use cases are that I have users that are filtering messages into IMAP folders using their IMAP Client, but they also use WC. Their IMAP Clients are turned off when they're travelling, and it doesn't make for easy e-mail management on the go.

  9. Blacklist to stop email addresses from being added to a mailing list auto responder

  10. Add a per document editable description to document folders

    Add a searchable field to describe/annotate each document in a document folder. In the right pane, user could show every description for the show files, show on demand the description of a selected file, hide all descriptions, edit/remove description attached to a file.

  11. Automatically generate and enclose Vcard and/or MeCard. Perfectly it would ad the QR-Quode.

    Depending on a key-word in the mail, MDaemon should ad/genereate a vCard (for Outlookers) and/or a MeCard (perfectly encoded as QR-Code). Lot of people still print out emails. For those the QR-Code would be great.

  12. Could you range by ALPHA order lists (whitelist etc...)

    Hello,

    With the time, i'd put many entries into whitelists...and other list, and i saw i have often entries in double or more.

    If you have a way to range them by alfa order, after whitelist to or whistlist for "terms", it could be better

  13. Hits on content filter rules

    I have implemented many content filter rules. Some of them are dependent (eg. jump to another rule) and it becomes sometimes difficult inserting correctly a new rule among the others without affecting the existing ones. For sure some of them could be cancelled, due to many reasons (old habits no more in use, Mdaemon enhancements, and so on) but I don't know if all are still in use or if some have become stale.
    It could be useful a counter showing the hits of a rule over a period in order to understand what could be eliminated.

  15. New User account - password is secure signal

    When entering the password for the user account, the password field should light green if the password is secure enough. Until now you only get an error after pressing OK.

  16. search field function always shows

    Hello

    In outlook we have the search field always on the screen.
    In lookout we need to clic on the icon each time we want to use it.

    it could be better to have always this field enable and show on several screens

  17. Add a MDBadQueueReason: column to the Bad Queue contents list.

    There is already a MDBadQueueReason: header in bad messages which indicates why they are considered bad.
    Adding this to the stats view would make it easier to spot a persistent problem with certain mail routes, etc.

    The provided TLS security settings should be extended to include:

    REQUEST TLS FROM LIST OF INCOMING DOMAINS AS WELL AS TO LIST OF OUTGOING TO DOMAINS.

  20. A feature to lock an account.

    Would it be possible to have Worldclient to lock an account after N failed logins? Also, the mailadmin should be notified when this happens.
