  1. Cached previously used addressed within Worldclient

Cache used addressed within Worldclient and automatically lookup in to\cc\bcc fields when composing or replying to messages.

Addresses should be identifiable as coming from cache or the already available address book entries.

This is already possible with the latest versions of MDaemon. Go to Security / Spam Filter / White List (automatic). Check the box for Automatically update white listed contacts. There are also per user settings on the Options page of the Account editor that will need to be enabled. The whitelist contacts folder will be used by autocomplete.

  2. OC: show the user mail contingent in oc ribbon/button row

  3. Ability to Mark a Domain as Inactive

Would be useful when moving a domain from an external server to your own server to allow for accounts to be created for the domain prior to the actual move. Currently, this gives two issues. First, you have to use a forwarding workaround (on each account) to continue to deliver mail to the existing server and second, during the time you're creating the accounts, any emails sent locally to un-configured accounts will be returned to the sender with a mailbox unknown error. How much easier it would be if there was a flag that denoted that emails for this domain…

  6. Include a Message Recall function

MS Exchange server offers to pull-back sent emails IF not opened by recipient(s). it is good to see it in MDaemon's feature list.

  8. Multicore MDSpamd

Under heavy load, MDSpamd used only 100/#cores % of CPU, means it's unable to use more than one core per time (seen with Windows 2003 x64).
It would be great, since internally works using a multithread architecture, that could take full advantage of a multicore environment.

  9. Worldclient remembers the last alias used to send a message

It would be great if worldclient would remember the last alias used to send a message and when the user sends a new message it will choose that alias as default.
I think it's easy to implement and will give the user a good advantage (I have customers constantly complaining about that).

  16. Detect accounts that have been compromised and disable them

Spammers often figure out passwords for accounts using things like dictionary attacks. If MDaemon could detect when an account was compromised and prevent it from sending email it would make the administrators life much easier.
