OC DB size management
Have a setting to limit the size of the attachment folder and the cache.db file. This gets out of hand with larger accounts and start to use a vast amount of memory, which then crashes outlook 2016.

Export an MDaemon Group to a Contacts Folder
It would really be beneficial to us in a school environment to be able to create a contacts list based on Group Membership.
Below is an email thread with our UK support.
Is it possible to create another public address book called "Students" that will automatically be populated with the members of the "Students" Group and then I could make this readable ONLY by the Teachers group, as I don't want the students accessing the email addresses of all the other students.

Same "subject" in too many recepient
When i see the same subject in 10 o 20 messages from outside world to inside domain with different address (eg: a@one.it, b@two.com, c@three.net) theese messages are sure fake mail. I would like to add XX point to hash subject each day

Widen the usage of groups
I see MDaemon has a basic concept (of groups and templates). Now it would be really nice if you could actually use these groups outside of the administration interface (e.g. for people to use).
Like saying: I want to send a mail to all people of that department (no need to define a mailing list, which would be redundant, if groups are used properly). Or: I want to invite that group of people to a meeting (calendar).
Alternatives are welcome, like creating mailing lists which take their users from LDAP. I see this might be possible, however it is not…

Thanks again for sharing your ideas with us. In the current version of MDaemon you can configure a list to have a Group as a member. Does that accomplish what you are trying to do?
To add a Group as a member of a list you can click the Add button on the members tab and then click the bottom to the right of the Email field. Then select the desired groups and click OK. You can also just type GROUP:$GROUPNAME$ in the Email field, where $GROUPNAME$ is the name of the group.

Spoofed email
Sometimes happen to receive spoofed email, it could be very useful implement in wordclient alongside the sender a label (like gmail) where there is wrote by the remote server of the sender...I hope I was clear :)

MDaemon should be able to log account creation, deletion and password change when performed via the product GUI
I think that MDaemon should be able to log all the changes made to its accounts, not only those made via remote admin.

Calendar Statistics and Free Items
For the Calendar Statistics in WorldClient to be useful for analyzing the personal work planning, items marked as "Show time as: Free" should not be counted towards the total hours (otherwise Holidays that you enter into the calendar add 24 hours to your statistics).

High-Quality Colour Faxing
It would be very useful to be able to send colour faxes/emails.
The restriction of having only black and white when the results can be emailed using the OCR system could do with overcoming to advance the software. Our emails to customers essentially look like faxes which does reduce the impact somewhat.
Also, If the server down-scaled the file to send a fax, it would allow much better quality to be sent. We are currently restricted to sending using fax quality as the OCR, High Quality and fax option do not work well together causing unreadable faxes.

Buddy Messaging - Directory setup in Groups and Sub Groups
It would be really helpful if as an Admin we could set up the listing of members of staff in the World Client Instant Messenger window for all users in cascade folders . This way we could display
Country
City
Department
Names
This would allow easier navigation to find the person you want to IM. A search field at the top to be added if you know who you want.1 voteHello Carl,

Automatic accept appointment changes
is it possible to implement a function where a user automatically accepts the changes of an allready accpeted meeting while not automatically accept all new meetings.
In our case a person is invited and has allready accepted a meeting request. When something changes in the meeting he/she has to accept/decline the changes before seeing them in their calender.Another solution could be a white list function where only meeting 'requests' and 'changes' from specified users are automatically accepted by the participants.

The current version of MDaemon allows you to automatically accept invites from specified addresses. You can configure this by going to Accounts / Edit Account / Select the Account / Settings.

content filter trigger when a message moves from remote to retry queue
Hi,
I use content filter to route postmaster@ messages to a different remote queue.
Many of thèses messages will never be delivered (noreply, spam ... ) and the normal Delivery process will try again and again to send them for many days.
I use a different speficic Schedule attached to this queue, but it is not possible to try to send message immediately when queued.One solution : an option to try to send message immediatly, the 3 actual options do not permit it.
Another one : a trigger in the content filter when a message il delayed and move…

Pay license monthly.
For small businesses it might be a idea to pay the license costs monthly maybe as some kind of a subscrition fee . . Currently i
m running 16.5 bit really want to go to 17.5, but just dont have the funds for it. It is a pricely product without the addons and it would be friendlier if it was possible to pay a "subscription fee" . The product would than also be more available for starting companies.1 voteHello Gerrit,

subscribe to ICS calendars on worldclient and public Calendars
I would like to be able to create a public calendar which is subscribed to an ICS source, this will allow all outlook connector & worldclient users to see this cal without the need to individually subscribe to the source on all clients, ie outlook, iphone calendar etc...
Also, if the above is not possible then the ability for worldclient to be able to add ICS subscribed calendars is a must !

Mail restriction based on IP address per account
It would be nice if we could restrict an individual email account to their specific ip address they are coming in on. That would eliminate their account from being hijacked when their password is compromised.

Mailing List Manager Groupings
I have a dozen clients so far on my MDPC system. I would like to be able to group the mailing lists by domain instead of seeing all mailing lists under mailing list manager. It would make it easier to edit the mailing lists for a specific domain and also make the list more navigable if it only showed the list of domains and then you expand to view mailing lists for that domain.

Block Javascript attachments by default
I blocked this attachment after one of my clients got hit with the cryptolocker virus abut 2 year ago and since then it has blocked several more emails with this attachment.
I would recommend making this default as I cannot really see any valid reason for the vast majority of users to have the ability to receive emails with js attachments.

Failed login attempts log to windows event log
Would be interesting if we have the posibility to log failed login attempts on worldclient to windows event log. This will allow transfer such events to syslog on perimetral security system and act, for example, banning the source ip in such perimetral security equipment. We are doing it with smtp failed login attempts with very good results. MDaemon remains isolated from such attacks.

The latest version of MDaemon can be configured to monitor all inbound connections for authentication failures and block IP addresses that exceed the configured limits.

Improved Control of DMARC Reporting
I would like some additional control and ways to monitor the DMARC reports which are sent out. I would like to be able to selectively stop reporting to certain recipients, and would also like to see what reports are going out in a summary form.
The problem that this addresses is that I have a domain to which I am sending a report which has stopped accepting the report, so I am generating failed emails that need to be cleared up manually. I Don't see any way to stop this at the moment!
