  1. attach files to tasks/events in WC's calendar.

    It would be nice if an user could attach a file (IE, an offer, a brochure,a contract in PDF) to tasks and/or events in Worldclient,

    Hello Bruno,

    Thanks for sharing your idea on adding the ablity to add attachments to Tasks and Events in WorldClient Calendars. MDaemon has been updated to support attachments on all PIM items. WorldClient currently only supports adding attachments to calendar events, but the next version of WorldClient will support attachments on all PIM items.

  2. Remove all members from a mailing list using WebAdmin

    Whenever we need to import a new (temporary) mailing list, we need to either physically visit the server to clean out an old list, or (via Web Admin) create an entirely new list. The latter gives the possibility of some important settings being wrong, in the hands of inexperienced administrators.

    So it would be very convenient to be able to delete all members of a list in Web Admin, so a new set can be imported. Alternatively perhaps, to clone a list in Web Admin (but with no members).

  3. Weak password detection report

    for example are accounts using short passwords, strong passwords, same as username, same passwords across multiple accounts, check against a text file of common used passwords. You should not need to actually show the passwords in the report rather give each account a password rating.

  4. Quota on a per group basis.

    We have groups of people in mdaemon like we have groups in Active Directory. Certain groups require more of a quota and some require less. It would be nice to specify the quota in this way.

  5. Local administration client that allows multiple sessions and more flexibility than webadmin.

    The webadmin is decent but lacks features and flexibility. This makes management of the domain tricky when trying to allow more than one person to make changes to the system at any given time. A local client that acts a bit more like the mdaemon gui and allows multiple sessions would be invaluable to managing and scaling the email system.

    Hello,

    We have constantly been updating MDaemon Remote Administration to make it more flexible and provide the same functionality as is available in the MDaemon GUI. We’ve also added the ability to more easily add groups to mailing lists while using Remote Administration.

    If you have additional improvements you’d like to see in Remote Administration, please let us know.

  6. SPF and Sender ID Option to Evaluate the FROM Domain

    Currently, SG only evaluates SPF and Sender ID using a hidden "MAIL FROM" value in the protocol. It would be really nice if the EMail Domain displayed in all of the Message and Quarrantine logs and search options could be used for the SPF evaluation. After all, it is the Visible FROM Email Address impersonation that causes end users to open email from invalid senders. We are having trouble with malware email being sent from infected PCs where the MAIL FROM domain matches the SPF - but the FROM displayed to the users is totally impersonated.

  7. Have the ActiveSync connections appear on the Sessions Tab

    On the Sessions tab you can see all of the WorldClient, IMAP, POP3, SMTP and OC connections, but not the ActiveSync ones.

    Have the ActiveSync connections appear on the Sessions Tab on the server as well. This would allow a single unified panel for viewing current connections.

    Traffic chart in Webadmin that show number of messages sent and received per user per month. Traffic chart in LookOut that shows the same info but only for the current user.

  11. Configure location for Archive Public folders

    Allow a separate path to be configured for the "archive" public folder (to allow to store archived emails on a different storage space)

  12. SecurityGateway quarantine spam/not spam buttons in admin view

    Logged in under admin. Click on Message/Queues | Quarantined (user). I get the option to release emails but not to mark as spam/not spam. I don't let my users do this on their own as they would find some way to mess it up. So i will periodically go through this and check myself. It would be handy to have those buttons there for an admin to admin the bayes

  14. Account failed authentication

    On the email representing "Account failed authentication numerous times: 'User' user@domain.com" it would be beneficial if the email could also contain:
    - The IP address of the user trying to log into the account, to help authenticate if the attempt is from a valid location or not.
    - The type of login, pop, imap or smtp. This helps point us to the proper log file to see more detail,

  16. The Account Manager needs to be more useful

    When you go into the Account Manager window you cannot do any bulk changes on the accounts. I want to be able to do basic tasks, such as add a group of people to a new Group or List with a couple of clicks and not have to go through very long winded procedures or start editing dat or ini files !

  17. When creating new accounts have an option to add to existing mailing lists

    When I create new accounts there is no option to choose which existing mailing lists I can add the new user to.

    I have to complete the new account creation procedure THEN open the mailing list editor and edit a list to add them.

  18. Allow CSV import when creating Distribution List

    Please allow a method to mass import email address into a distribution list, as you can only insert one email address at any one time. It is so cumbersome and time consuming at the moment.

    1.webmail should add Various state check，For example, whether to receive and send email using PGP encryption or signature success.Showing results can be intuitive.

  20. Automate Dynamic IP screening block to permananet IP block after x attempts

    I don't believe this exists. I would like to be able to automate the process that if an IP has been blocked by dynamic screening x amount of times in the past, it is automatically moved into IP screen, marked as refuse connection and notification sent.
