  1. Additional method of hijack detection

    Hijacked accounts behave different, there are many different IP's that login to the hijacked accounts and send Email.
    So the idea is to detect how many different IP's access an account and send email.
    Have two Options to configure: warn and freeze
    Examples:
    * Warn the admin when in 24h more than 5 different IPs have sent email
    * Freeze the account when in 24h more than 15 different IPs have sent email

  2. MDaemon should be able to log account creation, deletion and password change

    I could not find these info in the logs Mdaemon writes in \mdaemon\logs - I think this could be a great security improvement.

    Thank you for sharing your idea with us. In the current version of MDaemon, changes to accounts are tracked in the logs when the changes are made via MDaemon Remote Administration.     Hello,

    Thank you for your suggestion to show categories in the message preview window. We have actually done this for the mobile theme. The mobile theme is actually a responsive theme that we have been developing to work on all browsers. It can be used on a desktop in the current released version, MD 20.0.4, however, in MDaemon 21.0.0 there were significant improvements in the functionality available. Once you have installed MDaemon 21.0.0, which is currently available to the beta team and should be available to the general public in the next month or so, please take a look at the mobile theme and let us know what you think.

  4. Add a feature on MDaemon to list all admin accounts

    I want to list all admin accounts on MDaemon, but I haven't been able to.
    Especially when there are thousands of accounts on MDaemon, it can be difficult to know which accounts are admin accounts.
    Hope to add a feature in Account manager to list all administrator accounts, thank you very much!

  5. IM: Possibility to add into oulook and lookout, with just basic chat?

    Hello

    Is there any way to include into looktout and outlook! the IM Messenger. I saw the IM but Only the chat function is interesting, not the tree of folders or sync contacts

    Dragging and dropping of messages from one folder to another has been supported for several versions. Dragging and dropping files to attach them to emails in the web based email application was added for MDaemon 13 which has been released, however, Internet Explorer 9 and older do not support it.

  7. Display tree view of public folders

    The folder listing for the public folders is currently in one flat list, both in the Server UI and Web Admin, which makes managing hundreds of folders difficult. This should be displayed in a tree list, like it is in World Client, so that folders can be collapsed.

    Also, increase the size of the folder listing box in the server UI when expanding the "Default Domain & Server" configuration form.   8. Drag and drop in CF rules plus expand window

    It would be nice to have the ability to drag and drop rules in CF rules (rather than the move up and move down).
    I've a lot of rules and in the GUI I can't expand the CF rules window to see all of them at once and in WebAdmin the move up/move down has a tendency to go a bit mental and start moving the wrong rule.
    I usually end up hacking the CFRules.dat but that's a major pain

  9. New password should not allow previously used passwords. The previously used passwords count should be configurable using webadmin

  10. Password never expires check box

    Please provide this option below the check box - Account must change mailbox password before they can connect. This will help the admin to decide and enable this option for some special users.

  11. ActiveSync multiple Calendar choices

    ActiveSync: Choose to sync additional Calendars

    It would be convenient to choose which Calendars you can sync to your device. If there are reminders for a 'public' calendar, it would be nice to see them intergrated on the synced device.

  13. A way to track local Mails (with attachments), maybe Contentfilterrulesconditions!?

    We need a possibility to monitor mails wich are sended internal (same domain). We want to track mail wich are used to send attachments to other employees.
    So we are able to force them to use our documentsystem and not to blow up our mailsystem. But we need this without generally limit the attachment size (globally).

    Maybe we can implement a contentfiltercondition to track "internal-only" mails!? This could be usefull for other rules.

    Hello,

    Thank you for submitting your idea. The content filter can already be used to do this. Create a rule that checks the from header for a local address, the X-MDaemon-Deliver-To header for a local address and then checks to see if the message size is greater than X. Then configure the appropriate actions. Another option would be to use outbound attachment linking which would remove the attachment from the email and replace it with an HTML link.

  14. Use an inline picture as private signature in Worldclient

    Today it seems only possible to use pictures stored on a URL adress.
    This might work when users share a common signature picture.
    To have a private linked signature picture, company users need to upload a picture to public website.
    Like to have the email complete togheter with signature.

  15. CF - Restricted attachments - give us some options

    Hi guys
    At the very least I'd like to have the option on the CF screen so that if an attachment is restricted I can quarantine the entire message and attachment.

    Or, even better, have the if the attachment is restricted, add a specific header to the message and then run those messages through the CF engine so you have more granular control over what you want to do with the message and/or attachment(s)

  16. Active Directory Group Emailing

    to save creating mailing lists in mdaemon and having groups in active directory, thus managing two lots of groups.

    Why not if a user sends an email to "staff@school.com" that doesnt exist in mdaemon to lookup in Active Directory for a group called "Staff" and disperse the email to each member of that group.

    Thank you for taking the time to submit your idea to use AD groups for mailing lists. In the latest version of MDaemon a mailing list can be configured to pull its membership from Active Directory so that you don’t need to maintain a group in two places.

  18. Html code in WorldClient LookOut

    I have tried to find a way I can place an html code from AdSense so that there appears google ads in the messages in worldclients lookout design. I can not fix this, have any advice?

  20. multi serveur SMTP

    Avoir la possibilité que MDAEMON envoi les emails via une batterie d'autres serveurs SMTP que lui même, avec la mise en place d'une rotation lors de l'envoi. Cela limiterai les problèmes de black-list lorsque le serveur essayer d'envoyer plus de N email vers un service d'email qui n'en accepte pas plus de 3 par seconde. Ce qui devient courant.

    Thank you for sharing your request to have MDaemon send email via multiple SMTP servers. This is already possible using the option to deliver outbound messages to a smart host. Simply enter a domain name in the field for the smart host and configure MX records for that domain to point to all the servers you would like MDaemon to try to send to.
