OS X support is quickly becoming a must have. As in we're going to have to do something different after 10 years of using mdaemon if we can't get OS X support pretty soon. The world is going Mac and leaving AltN behind.

Great,
Customers will support Mac (mail, contacts, calendar, etc. ..) natively.Also for Thunderbird (PC and MAC) to avoid having to buy licenses for Outlook.

Mdeamon would soon loose out given that more pepole migrate to a mac os x platform. the need for calDav support should be very high on the priority list. our company has been a very loyal user of mdeamon for the last 6 years and we are now seriously rethinking the email server solutions given that there is no calDav support even in the new version....
