you should upgrade FAST. when it will not be fixed until March, 2013, I need to through away a Mdaemon pro unlimited-user edtion and my Client must change to Exchange with his users. That would not be very nice.

We are currently working to get Outlook 2013 to use our ActiveSync server. Unfortunately, we do not have a release date yet.

Do you have an release date for this feature?

Please add ActiveSync support for Outlook. My Boss is about to force us to dump Mdaemon for Exchange because of the difficulty with synchronization.

If you can't make Outlook connect using ActiveSync, I would refer you to the "Google Sync for Outlook" tool. I have used it for a couple of months now without any issues. I am not suggesting that anyone necessarily migrate to Google Apps but perhaps learn something from their sync tools. The price point of your server for larger installs still make sense but the Outlook Connector is still your weakest link.

We also use Mdaemon OC. We have responding problems, crash of outlook etc. Have done everything on the supportsite and more.....still many problems. Any update to include this should be very important for your business. I have moved some of the client with big problems to Exchange.

We used MDaemon OC with the MS Outlook and have outlook 'not responding' issue constantly - the gentleman we tried is our GM and is very unhappy. Any update to include this or active sync should be the top priority.

I wholeheartedly agree that the completion AS component is essentially the biggest missing piece to put MD in a position as a turn-key alternative to exchange.
(One of) the biggest shortcomings at the moment is the lack of support for shared-PIM (shared-contacts, shared-calendars, shared-etc), and enabling this functionality at the protocol-level will open up MD to other stacks other than simple windows+outlook & enable integration with other OS's & clients, including mobiles.

I believe this or something like this would eliminate the biggest weakness in your entire product line. I also agree with the other commentor that this should be a priority. If Altn were t make connecting Outlook to Mdaemon more like connecting a smart phone to Mdaemon, this product would be a world class product.

Should be the top priority for Alt-n, making Mdaemon a true and complete alternative to Exchange in all environments.
