Use of distribution lists
It would be great if, when sending 1 message to several lists, MDaemon could pre-load the recipients concerned and remove any duplicate(s) so that recipients present on several lists would not receive the message several times in their inbox.
Hello,
Functionality has been added to MDaemon 14.5.0 that allows duplicate recipients to be removed when a single message is sent to multiple mailing lists and when a user is a member of multiple groups that are members of a single mailing list.
Thanks,
Arron

In my testing, yes, this is already possible. If you are having problems with it, please contact our support team for assistance. All of our support options can be found at http://www.altn.com/support.

So this DOES include the nested mailing list scenario? It had been suggested to me that the scenario I outlined was not handled.

Consider where you have a 2 mailing lists - juniorparents and seniorparents and then a third list allparents which consists of the 2 other mailing lists. It would be nice to ensure that a member of both juniorparents and seniorparents would only receive 1 email if sent to allparents.

Hi Ryan,
This is still on our list of enhancements to consider for future versions of MDaemon. Unfortunately a time frame for when this will be implemented has not been identified.

This does not sound like rocket science to me! Please Alt-N implement this in the next release.

This is still an issue in our company. We sent you the files for our setup here and never heard back, is this still "being considered" or are we switching to a different software that does not have this issue?

Please consider this for the mailing lists as well if it had not crossed your mind. Thank you.
