Desktop Client?
You have the server and you have the webmail. What about a desktop client?
The only client you support is Outlook, which does not work well. In my opinion, Outlook is a poor product.
If you want to take MDaemon to the next level, you need to add the third piece of the puzzle, a fully supported desktop client. One that is fully sync'd with the server.
The only client I've seen that can currently compete with Outlook is eM Client, but there is no way the sync with it.
I see that CalDav, WebDav & CardDav support has been planned. But when? And I'm not even sure if these would be adequate.
Business gets done thru a desktop client, not webmail. Webmail is too slow for users who have and receive a lot of email due to the lack of a cache.
Please consider a desktop client.
Thank you for sharing your idea on developing a Desktop Email Client. MDaemon supports any email clients that use POP3, IMAP, SMTP, SyncML, ActiveSync, CardDAV, and CalDAV. We recommend using your favorite 3rd party desktop client. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have plans to develop our own desktop email client.
Thanks,
Arron

Have you tried TbSync for Thunderbird? It works with ActiveSync or CalDAV/CardDAV.
