Please bring back the feature UI right-click log search option
Hi Dear MDaemon Support. few Days ago after releasing Ver. 13.6.1 , i upgrade from 13.6.0 to new version. But i see that in Release Notes, one Usefull Option called UI Right-Click Search Option was removed in this Ver. that was one of the Best Tools for Looking inside Logs for Troubleshooting .
With this feature, if you want looking inside SMTP (in) Logs, you should just Right-Click on UI Online Logs & select Search, then all Relevant logs Automatically searched by MDaemon.
Without this feature, you should search inside all your Service Logs one by one to find your items & it will take much more time.
MDaemon in Release Notes say that, "this option was very crude and could not be substantially improved. It may be replaced in future by a stand alone app." .
Is it better MDaemon first prepare Alternative App & after that Remove this Usefull Troubleshooting Option ?
Best Regards, Jalal
Hello Everyone,
This functionality was added back into MDaemon 13.6.2. My apologies for not updating this sooner.
Thanks,
Arron

Yes, please bring this feature back. It's a major hassle to search through individual logs.

I have still problem. I try to find something inside log files manually, but i can't find anything below to my search in Log files & this is very strange !!! .
Before when i want to find something inside logs, i try on UI right-click log search option and find it very fast in log files.
However, this is Log option in my server, maybe i forget something :Setup ->Server Settings -> Loging:

hi everybody, i read Jalal request and i am agree with him. if you want diagnose some error and your mdaemon logs categorized to be separate as week days name, then you should try to search all files one by one to find your need and it will take lots of time.
if you have 500 or more users, WOW you will be in trouble and maybe you should search for a new job soon :-)B.R. Nour
