Smart Host credentials linked to Alias entries (aimed at multiple alias managment under the same TLD for each user)
Each user can have ONE smart host credentials saved, this works well for one top level domain but is very restrictive.
Assume this:
- Domain "gmail.com" allows smart host credentials for each user.
- User "John" has MultiPop for "john@gmail.com" and "my mycar@gmail.com", both accounts different logins to GMAIL to send mail.
MDaemon as it stands cant send mail by this single user having both the above MultiPOP as can only store one Smart Host credentials for one top level domain (in this case gmail.com) omain.
- For the above to work the complete "FROM" email address needs to be checked in the "alias" list then lookup the smart host credentials for that domain and submit them to the domain manager to use.
Please allow "alias" entries to have Smart Host login credentials as well

Thanks again for your sharing your ideas with us. Adding smart host credentials per alias will be considered for future versions. Unfortunately, we do not have plans to implement this functionality in MDaemon.
