Automatically disable/freeze/delete accounts on being inactive for a specific period
I would like to have an option in MDaemon which will automatically disable/freeze/delete Email accounts which are inactive for a specific period. An option to set Max inactive days with Action (disable/freeze/delete) can be made available in web admin.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your ideas to expand the inactive account functionality. It will be considered for future versions of MDaemon.
Thanks,
Arron

Thanks for your additional feedback. I have created a separate idea for excluding accounts from the option to disable accounts after X days of inactivity.

Hi Arron,
I have noticed one more issue which arises after enabling this option to disable accounts after 30 days.
After enabling this option i noticed that the email ids created for notification purpose are also blocked. For instance: i have a Email ID created for firewall alerts and since no one logs in to this Email ID this Email ID is frequently getting disabled by this feature.
I would also recommend to have a exclusion list for Email ID created only for notifications.Regards,

Hi Arron,
Thanks for guiding me to that option to disable accounts in Quota.
I would like to see a detailed feature which will give me an option to decide what should be done when account is inactive for X days, XX days and *** days. My policy may not allow me to disable account as the Email ID once disabled will not receive any mail so would prefer to freeze the account instead of disabling then after XX days would want the account to get disabled and after *** days would want the account to get automatically deleted. Thanks,
