ActiveSync Policy expand
Dear Sirs,
I would like to suggest to increase number of options in the ActiveSync Policy editor to enable us to do more with it?
Here is there Exchange list for reference: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123783.aspxAs per my view, one of the most important is the "Approved Application List", "Password recovery enabled", "Require storage card encryption", "Unapproved InROM application list", "Allow unsigned installation packages","Allow unsigned applications" and etc.
It will be very helpful for admins to achieve compliance with security standards (ISO, ITIL, etc).3 votesHello,

MDaemon Banner Attachment
Have the ability to append either an HTML or TXT based banner on the bottom of all e-mails. (While this is currently supported, the problem is the banners stack with each reply, making it look un-clean). So really looking for a way to add a single banner to the bottom of an e-mail, and remote any duplicate copies. We were using linux previously to strip the banners upon replies, but this is messy.
3 votesHello,
Thanks for sharing your suggestion with us. This can already be done using the content filter. Create a rule to search the message body for a unique string of characters that are included in your banner, if they are found don’t add another banner. If they are not found add the banner.

Content filtering - indicate the line of the file that was matched by the rules
Hello, I use the content filtering system to filter mails received.
When an email is blocked through this system we have for example the following message: Message matched rule: Filtering_rules
Would it be possible in a future update to indicate the line that blocked the message.
example: Message matched rule: Filtering_rules - Line 2563
3 votesHello,
Thanks for sharing your idea with us to show which search criteria was matched. MDaemon 16.5 has been updated to include this functionality.

Import ICS file and share to all as a public calendar
Import ICS file and share to all mailboxes as a public calendar, making sure the calendar is live and if changes are made to the internet calendar the updated changes are sent to the MDeamon calendar to reflect.
Exactly like live calendar subscriptions in outlook etc...

Restriction on media files while attaching.
Please add a feature in which if someone can only attach a restricted file in email message, mdaemon will detect and remove this from the message prior to local que process.
3 votesHello,
Thank you for sharing your idea with us. MDaemon is already capable of removing attachments from messages. To configure this go to Security / Content Filter / Attachments. Add any attachments that you would like to be removed from messages to the list for “Restrict these attachments”. During processing, any attachments that match the names specified will be removed from emails.
If you have questions or would like assistance configuring this, please contact our support team. All of our support options can be found at http://www.altn.com/support/.

round robin smtp
to declare several IP address to the server, and be able to implement a round robin on the ip sending emails.
3 votesHello,
Thanks for sharing your idea with us. You should be able to implement a round robin by adding multiple A records in DNS that have the same name. MDaemon will (when possible) randomly pick an A record when determining where to send mail.

Wildcard in MXCache.dat would be very useful.
We would like to send everything but one domain to a smarthost. If we set the MXCache we can not use the smarthost anymore.
Thus we have either to send everything directly out.
We would prefer to state which domains are special and all the rest to the smarthost.3 votesHello,
Thank you for sharing your idea to allow wildcards in the MXCache.dat file. While wildcards are not supported in the MXCache.dat file, the desired behavior can be achieved by configuring a Gateway for the domain that you don’t want sent to the smart host. For example, if you want mail for test.com to be sent according to the DNS records for test.com then create a new gateway for test.com. On the Gateway Forwarding dialog check the box for Forward mail to this domain and enter test.com in the field. Then configure MDaemon to send all outbound mail to a smart host. Activesync Out Of Office
Due to the recent issues with Outlook Connector on Windows 10 we have been using Activesync and have shared folders working as well. What would make it complete would be the use of out of office for Active Sync in Outlook. I'm guessing the Simplest way would be a addon were you could login with your credentials on the addon and then set it from there. Essentially a smaller version of the Outlook Connector.
3 votesHello,
Thank you for your suggestion. MDaemon’s ActiveSync implementation already allows you to configure your out of office message. In order for it to work, the device must also support this functionality.

Add "country of origin" in DynamicScreened IP mails header and body.
Now with the newly added feature "Location Screening" you have the database and functionality to convert IP to Country.
Please add functionality to include "Country of Origin" in the "Dynamic Screen" emails both in header and in body.
Possible included as a user configured option ON/OFF.

Worldclient to field autofill defaults
When typing say Claire in the To box in Worldclient, it defaults to show all the Claire's in the address books and doesn't seem to use a history or suggested contacts list.
My clients are schools and they have access to the Council Address book which has about 800 Email addresses in it. Most of these addresses are never emailed to, but they show first when typing a name because of alphabetical order.
My recommendation would be to change this to use suggested list or frequently used contacts first, followed by local address books and then public address books otherwise…

MDaemon 18.0.0 includes this functionality.

Continents, Country and Countries
Continents, Country and Countries
New Feature Requests
New Statistics Reports in MDaemon.
Continents, and possibly Countries
By Continent and Country: Messages accepted, Messages Refused
By Continent and Country: Successful Authentication Attempts, Failed Authentication Attempts.I would also like to see all logs of any authentication failures to indicate country of origin in the log possibly on the same log line to help provide some source information.
I would like to see a feature in the future that includes an alert to the mail admin anytime someone is able to successfully log in from a new continent, or another country.

Thank you for your suggestions to implement screening based on countries. The latest version of MDaemon already supports this functionality.

autoresponder for addresses that are set as a public folder's
Now when a message is sent to the submission address, MDaemon routes it directly to that public folder and ignores all other settings in that e-mail account including the auto-responder!
3 votesHello,
Thank you for your suggestion to be able to configure autoresponders for addresses that are configured as a submission address for a public folder. This is already possible by creating a content filter rule that checks the X-MDaemon-Delivery to header for the submission address and then uses the send a note to action.

Add support for signature macros in Content Filter
Please, add support for signature macros in Content Filter
Currently you can use signature macros ($CONTACTFULLNAME$,
$CONTACTBUSINESSTITLE$, etc.) in domain signatures but NOT if signature is called by a content rule. This way you can't distinguish, for example, between local and remote recipients and you can't set different signatures for internal and external.
3 votesHello,
Support for signatures macros has been added to the content filter.

Append text to message body
Hello,
Would be good if we can append text into the body of the message, for example, a warning for external emails. So the end users can be warned about attachments and links into the emails.

Thank you for sharing your idea with us. We have implemented this functionality in MDaemon.

Save sent messages via smtp to worldclient-sent items
When using mdaemon smtp to send emails, the emails are not saved in Sent Items of worldclient.
Like gmail when we sent email using outlook or smtp it automatically logs to sent items of gmail (accessible on mobile and desktop) in realtime.3 votesHello,
It is the responsibility of the email client that is sending the message to place a copy of the sent message in the sent folder. Make sure whatever client you are using to send the message is configured to use the same Sent message folder as MDaemon webmail. By default MDaemon webmail uses the Sent Items folder, some clients may use a different folder. You can customize the folder MDaemon webmail uses by logging into webmail and going to Options / Folders. If MDaemon webmail or some other client is not placing a copy of sent messages in the sent items folder and you would like assistance troubleshooting the issue, please contact our support team. Update from ACME v1 to ACME v2 for LetsEncrypt.
Update from ACME v1 to ACME v2 for LetsEncrypt.
Is it time to update the ACME v2 platform as the ACME v1 will officially be phased out.
https://letsencrypt.org/docs/client-options/
"All of the following clients support the ACMEv2 API (RFC 8555). We’ll be entirely phasing out support for ACMEv1 soon. If you’re already using one of the clients below, make sure to upgrade to the latest version. If the client you’re using isn’t listed below it may not support ACMEv2, in which case we recommend contacting the project maintainers or switching to another client.
This is the one referenced in the folder…3 votesHello,
Thanks for sharing your idea to update to Acme v2 for retrieving certificates from LetsEncrypt. The current version of MDaemon is already using Acme v2.

Sync Active Directory users and contacts as public contacts
We are using Microsoft Exchange in parallel to MDaemon. It would be good to be able to sync all the AD users to the address book without creating MDaemon users for all of them. There should be a filter for which user objects MDaemon users are to be created, the others would just be synced as public contacts.
3 votesHello,
Thank you for sharing your idea to sync Active Directory users to the address book in MDaemon without creating accounts. This is already possible in the current version of MDaemon. To enable it go to Accounts / Account Settings / Active Directory / Authentication, properly configure the dialog so that MDaemon can access Active Directory and be sure to set the desired Contact Search Filter. Then go to the Monitoring tab and uncheck the box for Monitor Active Directory and create/update MDaemon accounts. Check the box for Monitor Active Directory and update public address book(s).
