Add an editable description to document folders
Let users with A right on a document folder add/edit a description for the folder, to be shown below the name of the very folder, on the right pane.

The summary view should list all the folders (subscribed) that have unread items.

Lookout, would like the same behaviour in the folder's tree, as outlook, mask some "items"

It could be better into lookout to have the exact same folder's tree as Outlook.
In worldclient, items appears two times, so user's (and myself) are sometimes confused, because i see them twice, (one into the folder's tree, and a second in the specific categorie on the left bottom.
In outlook 2003/2007, we don't have two times items: calendar, notes etc... which are present, and manage in the specific category
It could be great to have only in the folder's tree
Mailbox
draft
deleted items
shared folders
publics folders.And in specifics categories, the same wich are alrealy present…

Message sort functionality
Message sorting is very weak in the regular (lookout) theme.
-While being positioned on a message if you click on a column, say sender, to sort on that basis, you should be kept on the message you were on so you can look for related messages, just like in outlook. Now it kicks you up to the beginning of the outcome of the sorted list! If you have a long list on multiple pages it is a real pain to relocate the message you were on.

Lookout calendar, just have the actual calendar, not have two calendar's

Lookout Modify contacts left top pane

In the looktout, it could be better to have on the lef top pane, the several contacts lists available. (wich are often into public folder's contact list...
We have public's contacts list, personnal's contact list, and others contact public list (like customers, or others...)
Actually, in left top pane there is not contact file which appears but the tree of folder's (mailbox appears)
it could be great to have in this pane, all the contacts lists available,

all setups of oc and comagent clients should be possible in wcpro
wcpro should offer not only an exe download for oc and comagent but also the msi file.
in the standard mdaemon manager there is no downloadlink for that files anymore and files.altn.com is not really up2date...
or an alternative would be a download link in the mdaemon manager directly in the setup windows of that services or maybe help menue...2 votesHello,
The MSI files were put in the wrong place on files.altn.com, this has been fixed. You can also download the files from http://www.altn.com/Downloads/ExistingCustomers/Outlook-Connector-MSI-Client/.

Send Customer contact request, that updates the contact automattically
Send request to email address asking for contact update, they fill in a form and it updates your contacts

WorldClient password field doesn't like trailing space and cr from copy/paste
Copy/paste into password field adds a trailing space and sometimes carriage return depending on where you copy from. Login script should detect these trailing characters and allow the login if it is correct otherwise.

I am slightly concerned that removing one potential characters from the end of a password will make it easier for an account to be abused. I can’t see somebody that is trying to guess a password adding a CRLF to it. Thank you for sharing your idea with us.

Highlight IMAP folder when new mail is detected in Worldclient
Adjust the folder color when new mail is detected in a subscribed folder.
If the folder has no unread email, it will be normal text.
If the folder has one unread email, it will be bold.
If the folder receives a new email, it will be bold and highlighted.
When the user views the folder, the highlight will disappear, however it can stay bold if there is unread items in the folder.Thunderbird currently has this feature, described here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/How_do_I_check_for_new_messages_in_other_folders

Mdaemon, push, intranet, rss etc...

It would be great to have a new module into Mdaemon, which can be use by administrator or other personne with good rights to publish some information, on the first open page of mdaemon lookout (but also in a first open page into outlook).
Actually we try to use an intranet with "phpbb" but users don't use it because it is not into outlook , which is the main open program...
the module, could be a little html wysiwyg,, (like phpbb) and administrators could be suscribed users. (users don't suscribeb themselves, they didn't do..).

OC/WC : Add full support to task embedded elements (OLE)
Actually WC doesn't support task containing embedded elements or graphical element (bold, underline) like Outlook does, so when you use OC to sync, those elements are lost.

Vertical bar Worlclient remembers last position when moving mails
When moving mails from inbox to another folder, inbox refresh and vertical bar is positioning at the beginning... and you have to slice again the vertical bar to find the messages you want to move...

Goto Unread Message
In Webmail Old Versions, users can see Unread Messages numbers & when click on it, they will go directly to those message one by one.
In new Webmail, users can see numbers but can't click on it & so should find unread messages by yourself & it's too difficult.Best Regards, Janet

Thank you for the suggestion to make it easier for users to go to the desired folder by clicking on the unread count. Which unread message count are you referring to? Any additional details you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
