  1. create MSI's of OC with personnalized parameters on mdaemon side

    It would be great if we can create msi oc files; with specifics parameters we would like to keep or enter;

    ex: unchecked download headers, parameters for database purge etc...

    Actually It's painfull to modify them, it would be better to make msi withmy own parameters

    Maybe it could be possible into mdaemon server side, after setup the OC.exe, to have a windows with parameters available, and a button to create the personnalized msi oc file.

    Dragging and dropping of messages from one folder to another has been supported for several versions. Dragging and dropping files to attach them to emails in the web based email application was added for MDaemon 13 which has been released, however, Internet Explorer 9 and older do not support it.

    Ability to trace all log entries related to a particular email from the time mdaemon receives it to the time it is delivered or retrieved

    MDaemon has the ability to log a unique ID string in all mail sessions. This enables you to trace all log entries related to a particular email. You can enable the option by going to Setup / Default Domain & Servers / Logging / Options, check the box for “Log unique ID string in all mail sessions.”

  4. Password expiration

    Password expiration. It should be a setting to require the users to periodically change their password and give them an reminder when the password are about to expire. When the password are expired the user should not be able to send mail and Worldclient should require a password change before opening the normal view.

  5. Have shared folders display in Activesync devices

    It would be very convenient to have shared folders display in Activesync devices as standard. At the moment one has to do all sorts of tricks with extra accounts to get shared folders, contacts and calendars.

  6. Please update the MDaemon APIs.

    The MDaemon APIs are severely lacking in being updated. We use the API extensively for managing as many aspects of the server as possible. We are an ISP with 10K+ accounts and must tie the MDaemon server into our ISP account management software via the APIs.

  7. additional parameters in contact search

    In world client, contacts, there is currently only a search for contact. Would it be possible to add additional options to search for matching in company field

  8. MDaemon Cloud

    MDaemon Cloud.

    Ability to create MDaemon Cloud across multiple servers using an universal URL for WorldClient as following or similar one. And a universal Public Contacts as well.

    For example with four servers configuration when an incoming HTTP request arrive any one of the four server can reply however, for a user who doesn’t have a local mailbox, MDaemon will query other servers to discover the requested user account on one of them. If account is found, MDaemon will route the HTTP request to the server where the account is located.

  9. Mdaemon wish, always appears by name alpha order

    Hello,

    into mdaemon users global list, it will be better to have always alpha order when we open that windows, each time i need to clic to have alpha name order

  10. When configuring Account hijack detection, allow different limits to be set for internal and external IP ranges.

    This may help with mail shots and users sending the occasional volume email from internal IP ranges while still protecting accounts from external hijacking.

  11. Weak password detection report

    for example are accounts using short passwords, strong passwords, same as username, same passwords across multiple accounts, check against a text file of common used passwords. You should not need to actually show the passwords in the report rather give each account a password rating.

  12. Include traffic charts that show number of messages sent per user per day

    Record how many messages a user sends per day (this would be very useful for the stats and traffic graphs, but also would help choose a value to block on)

  14. Add a "save all attachments" functionality

    When you have an email with many files attached is a pain to save all of them using WorldClient one by one.
    We should have an option to save all attachments with a single operation, saving them scattered in a folder or putting them in a zip file before.

  15. Add support for 3rd party IM clients by including an XMPP server

    Truly merge IM messaging into the mailserver with XMPP, especially sinds xmpp also uses e-mail adressing in their system. This way internet messaging is possible to other jabber / xmpp servers, withoud the hassel of keeping up extra im software and creating all user accounts twice...once for e-mail and once for IM

  16. OC: download in priority lastest mails instead of olders

    Hello,

    When we have a trouble in OC (when we need to to delete the attachments folder and localcach.db) or when we setup a new computer.;

    it will be better if Outlook could download, the recent mails in the first time, and the olders after.

    Actually first mails which appear are the olders and the less interesting for users who waiting...

  17. IM: Possibility to add into oulook and lookout, with just basic chat?

    Is there any way to include into looktout and outlook! the IM Messenger. I saw the IM but Only the chat function is interesting, not the tree of folders or sync contacts

  18. Traffic Charts, new screens: total of Mb Downloaded/Uploaded and bandwidth

    Hi

    Do you have the possibility to add two another screens into the new traffic charts, or is there already an ETA for them?

    The first will be the total off MB downloaded and uploded by day.

    the second will be the bandwidth use by day by mdaemon connexion

    I would like to know what is the part of bandwidth use by mdaemon (Actually i have mdaemon, other servers and internet proxy on a same wan link), and i don't know if mdaemon use little or much more bandwith.

    It could be helpfull to me to know the usage of…

  19. Calendar side by side

    Hello

    We use many share calendars in my office, and actually in lookout calendars are just "superposed", which il not usefull.

    Is there a way or could you add a parameter by defaut to have calendars "side by side", when we select more than one.

    Outlook 2007 can do the twice (superposed and side by side), but we prefer side by side.

    I know that many calendars in the same time ,side by side make litte columns, but the main time, we need just to have 2-3 calendars side by side.

  20. having public contacts folder for global blacklist and whitelist inside

    it would be nice if there would also be those 2 folders in the public section to have that globally. these 2 folders should have the same content as the spam manager settings folder already has in the mdaemon manager... the purpose is totally clear in my opinion
