  1. Choose from Documents in an existing e-mail composition

    Why should be be limited to starting a message from a document? We should have the ability to attach our Documents to an e-mail we are composing or replying to. Right now I have to go to the Documents list and then download, then attach. Make it easy!

  2. Include contents of support request in the auto response.

    Can we get an acknowledgement stating the contents of the comments entered on the ticket not just "we got your request".

    At times I open several tickets at the same time find it difficult to keep on top of them without the specifics in the feedback.

  3. SVG charts in SecurityGateway

  4. List reply to option

    At present, the only options are to change the reply to Header to a nominated address or leave the reply to as the sender. It would be great to have a checkbox that could be ticked to include the sender as address as well as one nominated. This allows replies to be directed back to the list by nominating the list address, as well as including the sender.

  5. Comment lines for Trusted IPs

    I would love to be able to use comment lines to document what each Trusted IP is, otherwise unless we maintain our own document the reasons we add an IP address are lost over time.

  7. Introduce a "Test"-Button for testing DNS-BL Server-entries

    Now it isn't possible to test a DNS-BL Server entrie, if it works or not.
    When there is e Missmatch in the Server-Url there will be a "pass" check in the Log-File.
    So it is not possible to check, if a DNS-BL-Server is responding or not.

  8. Feature Request WorldClient - Meeting Request

    Hi,

    Currently meeting request sent sent as an attachment ".ics" and when trying to open the file and accept the meeting request the same is opened in Ms Outlook Calender.
    The ".ics" file when opened should be automatically converted and option to accept the meeting should be provided and then the same should be added in the WorldClient calender.

WorldClient automatically parses information from the .ics attachments and should be presenting you with the option to accept, decline, accept tentatively, and to view the invitation without the need to open the attached .ics file.   10. Allow password protected attachments to pass through anti-virus scanning.

    This is the similar to a feature request that was completed for MDaemon.

    We have a lot of password protected file being sent to and from our office and we have to manual release them from the administrative quarantine. It would be nice to have an option to allow password protected zip/rar/7z files to pass through but still block everything else as it does today. It would be even better if we could specify which accounts or senders are allow to pass through protected files.

  11. Configure Rows Displayed in Message Log

    It would be useful to be able to configure the amount of messages per page when displaying the message log. Currently when scrolling through many pages of messages it is laborious. Being able to display more rows on on epage and customise this number would be of benefit to all users.

    Thank you for sharing your idea with us.
    You can configure the number of items show per page in SecurityGateway by going to Setup / User Options. At the bottom of the page enter the desired value in the “Number of items displayed per page” field.

  12. Make the block by HELO/EHLO checkbox actually work!! :)

    There is a feature in the system that appears to allow blocking by HELO/EHLO but it is completely non-functional. This would be awesome to help stem brute-force attacks!

    We have not been able to find any issues with the host screening functionality. One thing to keep in mind is that, the system intentionally does not reject sessions until after the MAIL command so that authenticated sessions can be exempted from it.   13. WorldClient - make it easier to add contacts to the blacklist

    Currently to add a contact to the blacklist folder a user must open the email, hover the mouse over the contact, wait for the menu to appear an then click add to blacklist. Most of my users use the preview pane instead of opening emails, so the current process is not very efficient.

    How about adding a "add to blacklist" button to the toolbar in the Inbox view?

The latest versions of the WorldClient and LookOut themes both allow you to black the sender of a message opened in the preview pane by right clicking on the sender and selecting Add to Blacklist.     Add a X-MD header line for a mail exchange, that was ssl/tls encrypted. Nowadays encrypted mail transfer becomes an important issue.

  16. IMAP Migration Tool

    It would be great if we could bring into MDaemon IMAP accounts from another server, preserving IMAP folders and so on...

    We are facing plenty email domain migrations (new customers) and it is hard to accomplish this task.
    If we could get one tool to manage this I'm sure we could get to much more customers.

  18. WorldClient needs a today work view.

    World Client, needs a today work view. I spend way to much time, scrolling back through email trying to get to the bottom of the list. We need a view that shows today's email, in the order they arrived only for today, and they should disappear from today's view if I mark them read. It is horrible that newest emails show up on top and the first ones to arrive stay at the bottom.

  20. Put the Log files in this folder in Setup, Server Settings, Logging,

    When you specify "Put the Log files in this folder", it would be nice if it put all the log files in that folder, INCLUDING THE BES LOGS, and Webserver Logs!

    Try This: Specify a new log folder destination and Apply, Stop MDaemon Services, delete all the logs or move the from the old MDaemon\Logs folder. Start the Mdaemon services. Look at your old LOG folder and confirm that you still have logs being put in the wrong place.
