Integrate BlackBerry Server 10
We decided to use the Blackberry Platform with Mdaemon because of higher security requirements. Since Active Sync cannot meet our security demands, but our clients want to use new Bs wit OS10, please provide the BES 10 integration.

Hello Christian,
BES 10 uses ActiveSync to communicate with email servers and can be used with the current release version of MDaemon as long as you have ActiveSync enabled.

Hi Christian,
We haven't found any special steps that are required to get BES 10 working with MDaemon other than needing to point the email profile configured in BES to MDaemon. Here are the basic steps.
1. Follow the installation and configuration documentation for BES 10 to get it up and running.
2. Make sure your MDaemon server has ActiveSync enabled and it is functioning and accessible from the machine running BES10.
3. Login to the BES 10 web console as an administrator.
4. On the left menu you should see a profiles section, expand it and click the option to add an email profile.
5. Specify the information for your MDaemon server.
6. Then configure your accounts in BES10 to use this email profile. -

since RIM doesn't provide any BES10 Installation/Configuration Support/Guides for MDaemon, how do we use BES10 with Maemon?

Hello,
I'm not asking anyone to abandon BES. The version of BES10 that was released by Research in Motion works with MDaemon. There is nothing that Alt-N needs to do in order for you to use BES10 with MDaemon.

ActiveSync is not an option for some of us. Sorry you give us a great feature and now you expect us to abandon the features we have grown to use and enjoy as a small biz.
