Department accounts
It would be nice to have department accounts with associated mailing lists with same name. The department can send emails with replies going to all members of department. For now we IMAP to send / reply but it's clumsy.
Even better if the mailing list can have the account as member.
Various managers ask for something like this.

Each department has/had it's mailing list, but we want that customers reply to the department for emails sent to them from the department. To do this mailing lists have been changed into IMAP accounts ! Not all department members have/want thunderbird (which seems to kill MDaemon in IMAP - long sessions !) so it would be handy if it was possible that writing to the department account sent a message to all members.
I know I can't do it now, but it's a long term wish !
Messages TO the list must come from the sender.
P.E. We offer/sell animal vaccines - orders/queries should go to the department - replies to these would be better from the department NOT a member's name).
We find that the 'vet' tends to write to only who replied to his query hence the request. Some managers want to write as their department so the reply goes to the department !
I could probably alias each sender and user the content filter to change the sender as a work around but seems horrible if possibile.
