Modify Password Expiration configuration
I would like a small change to this function. The counting of days should start at 0 when you set maximum days value. This will prevent a lot of users to get locked out of their account before they get any warning about an expiring password.
You can also include a link to the correct webpage in the warning email and make this link available even if the users don't have Worldclient access.
Hello,
Thanks for sharing your idea with us. It will be considered for future versions.

Changing passwords need to be as easy as possible and without having the knowledge how to use WordClient. If the warning message include a direct link to the correct webpage it would be much easier for IMAP and POP users.
Thanks

Hi Arron,
I tried with expire after 90 days and warn for 10 days. A lot of users got locked out of their accounts and I had to modify the MDaemon.ini maxpasswordage value to solve the problem. I don't know if this is by design or a bug.

Hi Verner,
Thanks for sharing your idea with us. What do you have configured for the "Passwords expire after this many days"? What do you have configured for "Warn users of password expiration each day for X days"?
Thanks,
