  1. Content filtering - indicate the line of the file that was matched by the rules

    Hello, I use the content filtering system to filter mails received.

    When an email is blocked through this system we have for example the following message: Message matched rule: Filtering_rules

    Would it be possible in a future update to indicate the line that blocked the message.

    example: Message matched rule: Filtering_rules - Line 2563

  2. group + inbox

    Gouping messages in INBOX for SENDER would be very usefull to organize the messages there. This would show alle mails from one SENDER in an own Group for each sender . Right now only grouping after date ( Today, yesterday, last week ) ist possible but this isn't useful for correspondance tracking or getting a good overview

  3. Import ICS file and share to all as a public calendar

    Import ICS file and share to all mailboxes as a public calendar, making sure the calendar is live and if changes are made to the internet calendar the updated changes are sent to the MDeamon calendar to reflect.

    Exactly like live calendar subscriptions in outlook etc...

  4. local

    In WorldClient / Web Server, we'd like to activate two factor authentification only for WAN clients, not for LAN ones (within for exemple an ip mask (x.x.x.*).

  6. Restriction on media files while attaching.

    Please add a feature in which if someone can only attach a restricted file in email message, mdaemon will detect and remove this from the message prior to local que process.

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing your idea with us. MDaemon is already capable of removing attachments from messages. To configure this go to Security / Content Filter / Attachments. Add any attachments that you would like to be removed from messages to the list for “Restrict these attachments”. During processing, any attachments that match the names specified will be removed from emails.

    just prior to freeze an account, add the ability to send a customizable message to the user, and can optionally release schedule an automatic account in a few hours.

  9. Individual Archiving

    To allow individual user to manually or automatically archive their email from worldclient and store it on a designated archive folder. Also to bel able to search or view archived email when needed.

  10. show meeting locations in month view calendar

    currently when you set a location for a meeting, it does not show on the calendar view when you are in Month view.

  11. Wildcard in MXCache.dat would be very useful.

    We would like to send everything but one domain to a smarthost. If we set the MXCache we can not use the smarthost anymore.
    Thus we have either to send everything directly out.
    We would prefer to state which domains are special and all the rest to the smarthost.

    Hello,

    Thank you for sharing your idea to allow wildcards in the MXCache.dat file. While wildcards are not supported in the MXCache.dat file, the desired behavior can be achieved by configuring a Gateway for the domain that you don’t want sent to the smart host. For example, if you want mail for test.com to be sent according to the DNS records for test.com then create a new gateway for test.com. On the Gateway Forwarding dialog check the box for Forward mail to this domain and enter test.com in the field. Then configure MDaemon to send all outbound mail to a smart host.   12. fix to messages sent from secondary POP Accounts

    Secretary Using Outlook Connector, sends emails from outlook using two additional POP accounts that are only set for send, does not save emails from the two additional accounts to sent items folder even though all accounts, outlook connector account 1, pop account 2 and pop account three are all setup to use outlook localcache.db for email data file. Emails send, but are not saved from the two pop accounts. The two pop accounts are not used to receive emails.

  13. Activesync Out Of Office

    Due to the recent issues with Outlook Connector on Windows 10 we have been using Activesync and have shared folders working as well. What would make it complete would be the use of out of office for Active Sync in Outlook. I'm guessing the Simplest way would be a addon were you could login with your credentials on the addon and then set it from there. Essentially a smaller version of the Outlook Connector.

  14. Add "country of origin" in DynamicScreened IP mails header and body.

    Now with the newly added feature "Location Screening" you have the database and functionality to convert IP to Country.

    Please add functionality to include "Country of Origin" in the "Dynamic Screen" emails both in header and in body.

    Possible included as a user configured option ON/OFF.

  15. Worldclient to field autofill defaults

    When typing say Claire in the To box in Worldclient, it defaults to show all the Claire's in the address books and doesn't seem to use a history or suggested contacts list.

    My clients are schools and they have access to the Council Address book which has about 800 Email addresses in it. Most of these addresses are never emailed to, but they show first when typing a name because of alphabetical order.

    My recommendation would be to change this to use suggested list or frequently used contacts first, followed by local address books and then public address books otherwise…

  16. Background

    Change the Background Color in World Client Theme

    Please add ability for changing default Background Color (White) to some other Colors. Because in all existing W.C. Themes, the color of existing backgrounds are White & for some Old peoples make some problem & difficulty because of high contrast of White Color.

    Thank you for sharing your idea to allow the customization of the background color.  Unfortunately we have decided to not allow complete customization of the background color, but we have implemented a dark mode and the ability to chose a "style" in the Pro theme.  Both of these options change the background color.

  17. The ability to be notified about/reset expired active directory passwords through world client.

    We use LDAP authentication and 90% of our users are remote. When their AD password expires they don't know it and they end up calling us because they cannot authenticate and are confused as to why. Is it a possibility to notify the users that their password has expired or is expiring and then allow them to reset it?

    New Statistics Reports in MDaemon.

    Continents, and possibly Countries

    By Continent and Country: Messages accepted, Messages Refused
    By Continent and Country: Successful Authentication Attempts, Failed Authentication Attempts.

    I would also like to see all logs of any authentication failures to indicate country of origin in the log possibly on the same log line to help provide some source information.

    I would like to see a feature in the future that includes an alert to the mail admin anytime someone is able to successfully log in from a new continent, or another country.

  19. autoresponder for addresses that are set as a public folder's

    Now when a message is sent to the submission address, MDaemon routes it directly to that public folder and ignores all other settings in that e-mail account including the auto-responder!

    Thank you for your suggestion to be able to configure autoresponders for addresses that are configured as a submission address for a public folder. This is already possible by creating a content filter rule that checks the X-MDaemon-Delivery to header for the submission address and then uses the send a note to action.

  20. Flag email for follow up in world client.

    Hello! It was brought to my attention by another user that in outlook there is the ability to flag an email for follow up. This would prompt you to enter a date for when you would like to follow up on the email and then re-send the email to you on that date to remind you to follow up. Figured I would throw it in here and see if it can be done!
