I am investigating the option of using Mdaemon for pupil emails for Curriculum Use. Teachers need to teach pupils how to use email. One of the main reasons that I want to use Mdaemon is so that we can configure pupil email accounts to never receive emails from outside - no strangers can send them emails (only other pupils and teachers on the same Mail Server, but not necessarily same domain i.e. different schools) and secondly because I want to setup an internal message chatting program so that pupils can chat to other pupils at other schools.

However the cost of adding 200 pupils to MDPC means that it is over £200 a month to add 200 pupils to the email system. Given that the pupils will probably use the email system for their lessons perhaps a dozen times a year, never receive email from outside (so they don't need spam filtering, virus protection and many of the other features implemented in Mdaemon) schools cannot justify spending over £2000 a year just on pupil email accounts that is only used for curriculum teaching.

Would it be possible to review if Mdaemon could have a pricing structure that charges per public email address (i.e. anyone can send to that email address), but internal only or limited email accounts would be free as they don't need spam filtering, AV protection, Outbreak Protection so there is no cost for these type of accounts.
