Automatically disable/freeze/delete accounts on being inactive for a specific period
I would like to have an option in MDaemon which will automatically disable/freeze/delete Email accounts which are inactive for a specific period. An option to set Max inactive days with Action (disable/freeze/delete) can be made available in web admin.

Add an option to toggle the MSA port exemption from PTR on and off.
Include and option so that the MSA (port 587 by default) can be subject to the same kind of filtering as other SMTP ports to help with filtering for compromised accounts.

Some time one team of more than two member are assigned one Email ID, and one try to log in while another user is already logged in than the session abruptly terminates
It would be nice if a user is logged in to worldclient using a Email ID and some one else tries to log in from different location using same Email ID, the interface to that other user gives warning message that some one is using this User ID right now (Maybe with IP address if possible).

Ability to generate a ticket internally, which means an MDaemon account can send an email from common address, creating a new ticket.

Rename attachments.zip
When downloading ZIP of the message, the defaul name for the file shouldn't be attachments.zip, but the name of the file shoud be the subject of then message (or at least a part of it). Users have often to save messages in shared folders and they must all the times change the name of the file, which is boring....

Allow MDaemon plugins register IMAP namespaces
Current documentation about developing a plug-in for MDaemon is focused on processing messages in the SMTP flow.
Extend MDaemon to allow a new type of plug-ins that can register one or more IMAP namespaces and handle IMAP requests for them.

Add NFSv4 ACL to folders and folder items
Implement NFSv4 ACL on folders and folder items on the server and use full ACLs for WorldClient, and proper subsets for IMAP ACLs and OC ACL.
FOLDERS: this would simply require to change what MDaemon writes in HIWATER.MRK, section [Access Control], from current

to something like the following

The ability to lock an account after X authentication failures already exists in MDaemon.
The ability to see the list of attached files already exists in WorldClient.
You have already submitted your idea to allow domain administrators to manage public folders.
I will create a new idea idea for your suggestion to be able to search contacts based on criteria other than name so we can track them independently.
Your idea to allow password expiration to be configured per domain will be considered for future versions.

reverse lookup report
Reverse Lookup Report.
for some case, sometimes there is good email without an ptr record. it make us always get complain from our user, and we must do whitelist from that email.
sound it's simple but, mostly our email partner didnt have a ptr record, and it make us very busy to find out rejected email on our server.
we hope mdaemon can make a report to identify rejected mail from reverse lookup.

Stop senders sharing your email address with everybody they know
A content filter that you can define a message as spam (and bounce it to the sender) if it contains more than 2-3 recipients in the TO or CC field.

Spam Trap handling from within MD GUI.
Add "Spam Trap" handling from within the MD GUI so you don't need to login to WorldClient/WebAdmin to administrate this.
Add same functionality as in WebAdmin with "Release" and "Release + Copy to non spam folder".

It would also be useful to have the ability to apply different signatures to different user groups and domains. Ie. one for Sales, one for Technical and so on...

Make a public folder "watchable" for different kinds of events
Let a user optionally subscribe to a public folder event notification system, which will send either an IM or a tiny mail message to tell the user if a new "object" has been created/changed/deleted. With "object" I mean any out of mail message, contact, meeting, task, note, journal entry, document.

Acknowledgement Message
As you may know, Mdaemon has the Read Confirmation and Delivery Confirmation. However, these features may not be affective if the users decide to click on "Cancel" or not even click on the broadcast email that you send to them.
If you want your users to read a very important message or announcement, the only way that you can do is to force them to read it. Therefore, Acknowledgement Message is the way to go.

Need two new options to disable accounts. Wipe device and Freeze Account, Wipe device and Disable Account. The idea is to wait until after the device connects to sync via Active Sync, send the wipe commands, then immediately disable or freeze the account according to selection.

Mimic the Top email Category of Gmail (Promotions, Social,Forums)
The very recent of gmail categories is great.
Some emails are half-spam. You register in a site (e.g. amazon) for doing some shopping and then they keep sending info. Or Tech news site.
On a daily basis I don't have the time to read the newsletters and daily deleting the emails is a waste of time. But they aren't 100% spam so I don't want to block their emails forever.
