1. Decrypt pgp attachments

   When I receive a PGP email from an external user, would be very helpfull decrypt automatically the attachments, so I can open it from worldclient.

2. branding Mdaemon

   Would it be possible to fully complete the Mdaemon Branding Process.

   At the moment, I am able to replace the Logo above the login on the login page and it shows the same logo on the LHS once logged in.

   However, I had to manually replace the fav icons for the browser by replacing the files in the relevant folders.

3. location screening smtp filter

   Currently with location screening, any countries in the blacklist, the emails are simply dropped. In the main this has worked well with blocking 90% of the countries that we never expect to receive emails from and I think has really helped with malware.

   However, once every few months, we miss an email that is sent by a helpdesk system or CRM system which for some reason is located in a country in the blacklist even though the supplier we are dealing with is not located in that country and their usual emails come through another system. I suspect that we are also missing emails that we are not even aware of that we should be receiving, because we are not waiting for that particular email.

   I have come to the conclusion that a simple blacklist is not entirely practical because there is no way to track an expected email if it's blocked by country. I always have to keep asking the sender what IP address and country the Mailer program is using/from which is really not a desirable way to manage emails and this is causing frustration for end users.

   I would like to request that we have the option to either blacklist a country or filter a country for smtp email connections as there are certain countries where an outright ban is appropriate but other countries where a spam filter approach might be better. In fact what I would do is set all countries to filter and after a couple of years, just block countries where we get no legitimate emails and filter the rest.

   In addition, it would allow us to whitelist senders from filtered countries whilst still filtering everything else from that country. Currently I have to allow an entire country even if we only receive one sender from that country. Geolocation is great, but we need to go beyond simply blacklisting countries. I hope my suggestion of blacklisting and filtering lists would solve this.

   With regards to my other request about separating authentication block list vs smtp block list - that request is still valid and relevant. We don't need people outside the country logging into the email.

   Hopefully this latest feature request can be accommodated as well as separating authentication and smtp block list.

4. Can you please provide a button to open the current log

   the Logs in the mdaemon window only hold the last couple of lines of activity. older activity is written to logs.

   i do have to look something up that happened just a bit before. the log-dir, howerver, has a lot of files. it would be very nice to be able to e.g. right-click a logs tab and find a command that would open the current file for this log in e.g. notpad.

5. Content filter that checks recipients address book

   Add a content filter setting that specifies that allows you to state that if sender is in the recipient's private address book, do xyz. Mdaemon's Spam filter seems to have a rule where spam rules are not processed if sender is in recipient's private address book.

   Could the same be done for content filter rules to ensure that content filtering marketing junk emails is not applied to senders in recipient's address book.

6. Support for Voting Buttons in Outlook

   We have a project that would benefit from the addition of Voting Buttons (Outlook New Message > Options ribbon > Tracking > Use Voting Buttons). This would allow the sender to have a summary of the responses to a question posed in the email in a similar way to the responses from Meeting Requests.
   We have tested this feature with Outlook 2013 / MC 7.0.4 / MDaemon 21.0.2 but the recipients do not get presented with any voting buttons at the top of their emails.

   Thank you for your suggestion to allow messages to be sort by read status and by date. Newer themes, such as the WorldClient theme allow you to show only unread messages and then sort them by date.

9. Automatic Whitelist in Backscatter with Domain Sharing

   Hi,

   I want to suggest if ever the domain sharing is active, the email from other mail server with the same domain should be treated as local email and automatically whitelisted or exempted from "Backscatter Protection Verification" since the IP Address was already added on domain sharing.

   The problem arise when the mailing list email from the other server was rejected by the receiving server due to "550 5.1.1 Backscatter Protection detected an invalid or expired email address"

   Thank you for sharing your idea with us to automatically exempt IPs from backscatter protection when they are set up for domain sharing. The best approach, in this case, is to add a notification address to the mailing list so that messages are not sent with a NULL Mail From. This can also improve the deliverability of messages on the internet and sets an address that can be notified when there are delivery issues.

    Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.  The basic ticketing system that was implemented in MDaemon is using public folders.  It was never intended to be a full fledged ticketing system and has no concept of assign a ticket or an email.  You can simply forward the message to the person you want to "assign" it to, or leave it in the public folder for that person to address.

14. Exclude from sending hold time settings

    I think it would be nice if there was a function that would exclude emails from a specified email address from the send hold time settings. I want to send emergency emails such as server alert emails immediately.

15. Ablity to hide feature from Domain Admins

    Need the abilty to limit what domain admins see in the GUI. It would be nice to limit them to just users, block and allow list and log files.

    We use scripts to handle everything. I do not need admins in messing with the DLP and content filtering. Some of the other security settings do not need to be accessed by domain admins, I can provide more information on other sections that need to be hidden,

    Show the category name in full and not just as tooltips in the relevant column on the tasks page

    For example, a client of mine who manages dozens of condominiums needs to see at a glance which condominium a task is related to without having to hover over it or having to remember its color.

    Some basic predefined HTML templates and the ability to publish a mail to some Web space for those who couldn't view messages successfully would also be fantastic.

18. Lookout Modify contacts left top pane

    In the looktout, it could be better to have on the lef top pane, the several contacts lists available. (wich are often into public folder's contact list...

    We have public's contacts list, personnal's contact list, and others contact public list (like customers, or others...)

    Actually, in left top pane there is not contact file which appears but the tree of folder's (mailbox appears)

    it could be great to have in this pane, all the contacts lists available,

    For public folder's Is there anyway, for next version of Mdaemon/oc to have a specific behaviour and "an option" for public folder's, (which contains mails) to have only link to attachments, they contained

    I'd like to publish some informatiion into public folders, but if i synchronise them into wan with OC, bandwith will not be enough, and all public data will be replicated to the pc's wan users.

    Publics folders can actually be used in LAN with OC, or Wan with OC with TSE and Citrix, but... not Wan with OC... or just also for few data like contacts or task.

    So it will be better to have special behaviour for publics folders with link to files. (links should be dynamics, as when we download the OC via lookout, because sometimes we use the private ip and sometimes the public).
