Log attachment filenames
Please add the ability to log the filenames of file attachments. Currently not available anywhere in MDaemon or any of its addons.

Sorting of E-Mail Templates
Currently there is no possibility to change the order of Email templates. When a user has a lot of them it would be easier if one can change the order of the templates to have the ones that are heavily used on top of the list.

Integration with third party MFA
It would be nice to be able to integrate existing MFA like DUO or Azure AD, this way users only have to be setup once for MFA and it would all work.

Remote Mail Delivery Based on Domain (SecurityGateway)
In "Remote Mail Delivery" this should be a configurable option based upon the outbound domain just like many other features can be set based upon domain.
Additionally, you should be able to have multiple Remote Mail Delivery servers which will be prioritized to be used in the order in which you've added them.

all setups of oc and comagent clients should be possible in wcpro
wcpro should offer not only an exe download for oc and comagent but also the msi file.
in the standard mdaemon manager there is no downloadlink for that files anymore and files.altn.com is not really up2date...
or an alternative would be a download link in the mdaemon manager directly in the setup windows of that services or maybe help menue...2 votesHello,
The MSI files were put in the wrong place on files.altn.com, this has been fixed. You can also download the files from http://www.altn.com/Downloads/ExistingCustomers/Outlook-Connector-MSI-Client/.

Allow changes to the default Documents directory
In MDaemon 13, allow configuration of the "Documents" directory location and do not require directory names to end in .IMAP. Allow folders to be created and then under that folder a "Documents" and "EMail" folder. It would also be nice to integrate "Documents" into ActiveSync and/or Outlook Connector.

In Outlook connector we sync only mailbox, sent items and deleted items, to reduce the numbers of hits to the server..
We'd like to push public folders to the client side, but not to select client side for each.

Hijack detection operating for individual domains instead of server level
The detection of the hijack accounts is a very useful feature. It would be more useful to run at the domain level rather than at the server level because different domains may have different SMTP settings

Option to HOLD email sent with "Delivery Failure" result
Currently the SG does not retain email that it fails to deliver. I propose that there be an option to retain undeliverable email pending review and dispostion by an administrator.
This would be most valuable for initial configurations where the person setting up the system is trying to develop the best setup between the SG and inside email server(s). The Default for this option can be the current behavior to simply clear messages with permanent delivery failure.2 votesHello Arnold,
Thank you for submitting your idea to add an option to hold inbound email that cannot be delivered to the domain mail server. Enabling the option to not delete message content after a permanent delivery failure should work for you. We will consider adding additional options for the handling of inbound email for future versions of SecurityGateway.

Improve Dynamic Screening
It would be great if we could block ips which are sending to unknown recipients or sending confirmed spam into a specified period of time.
i.e. if one IP sends more than "X" confirmed spam mails in less than "Y" minutes, then block that IP for "Z" minutes.
If one IP is proving email addresses, and causes "X" recipient unknown responses in less than "Y" minutes, then block that IP for "Z" minutes.2 votesHello,

MDaemon is capable of blocking IPs that cause X recipient unknown responses. To configure this open MDaemon and go to Setup / Security / Dynamic Screening. Enter a value in the “Block IPs that cause this many failed RCPTs”
MDaemon is not currently capable of blocking IPs that attempt to send more than X confirmed spam messages. This could be a dangerous feature if your spam filter were mis-configured but we will look into it further.

I need that I receive email when an user log-in in WorldClient. I could do parse of log but if it was a possible integrated where rules can be apply also log worldclient.

Security Gateway - sending statistics report with domain name included
Security Gateway sends statistics reports and only mentions the server name. If you have one domain to monitor then this is no issue. Monitoring multiple domains as administrator it would be nice to see which domain the report is about.
In my case, I monitor multiple domains but only have one administrator selected so I get a per domain report.
In this case you can see which domain needs attention most.2 votesHello,

Rename attachments.zip
When downloading ZIP of the message, the defaul name for the file shouldn't be attachments.zip, but the name of the file shoud be the subject of then message (or at least a part of it). Users have often to save messages in shared folders and they must all the times change the name of the file, which is boring....

Automatically disable/freeze/delete accounts on being inactive for a specific period
I would like to have an option in MDaemon which will automatically disable/freeze/delete Email accounts which are inactive for a specific period. An option to set Max inactive days with Action (disable/freeze/delete) can be made available in web admin.

Add an email submit address for a global whitelist that affects all accounts.
Right now the whitelist@ works on a per account basis. It doesn't work for aliases and/or mailing lists and it is limited to mail sent only to a specific account. This is too restrictive in a shared environment. Currently as an admin, I have to add entries manually to the global whitelist. This is time consuming. Access to add entries could be allowed for all accounts, or restricted by a flag to only specific accounts.

WebAdmin - Role based access
Hi,
An option to add roles in WebAdmin if made available would be great.
We want to provide role based access to our Email support staff and that means when I create a role i should also be given an option to select modules which belongs to that role. For Example if i create a role by name Email Security then i should have an option while role creation to add Security and Antispam modules.

Reverse Lookup Feature
The Reverse Lookup is a very valuable tool however it can create unhappy customers when email gets rejected and people don’t understand why. Because the email connection gets dropped it becomes very difficult to locate the sender information and then try to whitelist the email IP or name.
What you need to have on this page is not just a button to put and IP or name into a list but a filtered log with check boxes next to the names in the log. It should have Email Address, IP Address, Domain Name, the Date and time recorded and a…

More Moderator on Mailing List
Add moderator more than one on Mailing List, so if the moderator is on vacation or cannot be contacted at the moment, the other moderator can approve and forward the message to the member of list.
